On Work:
I am a researcher who enjoys getting to the heart of problems. Sometimes this is a straightforward endeavor. Usually it's not - business problems often require explicit definition and thorough understanding before an approach becomes clear - and so flexibility and creativity become essential components of the research practice.
Research is a lot like building a wireframe for sculpture. Best practice yields information tailored for the recipients of the outputs - they're given a framework that allows movement forward and the creation / execution of idealized results.
Focusing on qualitative, user-centered research, I have worked to deliver actionable insights for companies large and small in the medical, laboratory, consumer, and digital worlds.
About Me:
I'm a curious person who believes that life should be fun. Exploration and understanding are all part of the making the journey worthwhile. I'm a random hobbyist who gets into a variety of things deeply; there's a ton to learn and lots to figure out. I think technology is cool, and that a healthy, low-impact lifestyle is important. I love to eat, exercise, travel, and generally experience what life has to offer.
